The Queen’s Cartoonists are a group of 6 musicians from New York City (Queens) that play music from iconic cartoons and the silver screen. Their concerts appeal to all ages, and include virtuosic performances, live projections of iconic cartoons (Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd and beyond) with live score recreation, multi-instrumental mayhem, singing, and comedy! Concert repertoire features music from the Golden Age of animation, including the music of Raymond Scott, Carl Stalling, Danny Elfman, Alf Clausen and John Williams. to name a few; cult cartoon classics, modern animation, and other unusual sources that will leave audiences surprised! Tying this diverse and challenging concert together are comedic stories and anecdotes involving the cartoons and their composers.
